The Kawaii Collection by Cirque Colors

Press Sample*

So here it is, the new Kawaii Collection by Cirque Colors. which is already available at cirquecolors.com and their stockists like nailland.hu and rainbow-connection.co.uk. I'm sure you noticed already the new packaging and the drama all about it as well.

I LOVED the old packaging and logo and the new one is totally different and very minimalistic, but I still like it. And the polishes are still as awesome as I expected them to be, so I really think some people are overreacting quite much when they say they'll stop buying them just because of the new packaging. There's much more I care about at a nail polish brand than the packaging, and that's the polish inside.

But that's just my opinion, everybody's free to do what he or she wants and I won't blame anyone for that :D

Now to the polishes:

The new ones aren't scented anymore with lavender and clary sage, they are unscented. That's a change I can live with.
Some of you already noticed as well that the content printed on the bottles changed from 13.2ml to 11ml, so I took an old bottle and a new bottle to compare what it's all about. The bottles are still exactly the same, so I asked Annie what the change is. The previous 13.2ml are the gross content, so the maximum the bottle can contain. The new 11ml is the actual content of the bottle, so the polish that really is inside of it. There's no change except the printing!

Here are the ten new shades with their boxes:

And their Liquid Laminate Top Coat, Holdfast Base Coat and the Matte Effect Top Coat with boxes:

... and now, all of them unboxed :D

Let's start with the swatches!

24k Affair, a gold foil holographic with sterling silver pigments. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

Crystal Tokyo, a rainbow iridescent glitter topper. Shown here in one coat over a white base (White Quartz by Masura) and with one coat of a glossy top coat.

Happy Monday, a violet holographic with a teal flash. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

Killer Kitsch, a hot red-pink holographic. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

Killer Kitsch mattified with the Matte Look Top Coat. I'm in love!

Lolly Lips, a bright raspberry pink with holographic flakes. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

Memedom, a turquoise holographic with a gold flash. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat. Here I used the Liquid Laminate Top Coat and it's great! It dries very fast and shiny :)

This was my birthday mani ;) Memedom with a double stamping (Black Knight, White Knight and Minimal 04 plate by MoYou London). This time I topped it with HK Girl by Glisten & Glow as unfortunately, the Liquid Laminate Top Coat smudged my stamping on my other hand's nails and I switched immediately to my usual one. So it's great for non-nailart things (what I do mostly due to lack of time :D).

QT Kitty, a deep violet with holographic flakes. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

Shiny, a silver foil holographic with sterling silver pigment. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

Star Child, a shimmery teal with opal and holographic glitters. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

Vaporwave, a cornflower blue holographic with a pink flash. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

I loved swatching these, they are just perfect as I'm used to know from Cirque! I can't tell you even my faves as I liked them all, but the one that surprised me the most was Killer Kitsch.

What do you think about the polishes and their rebrand?
