The Svartalfheim Collection by Sayuri

Press Sample*

Today I'll show you the upcoming Svartalfheim Collection by Sayuri. Here's some background information for the story behind its name :)

Svartalfheim (pronounced svart-alv-heym) is the home of the Dark Elves according to Norse mythology. The collection draws from the sinister and troublesome natures of the Dark Elves and their underground home. It's also the darker counterpart the previously released Alfheim Collection.

It will be released on September 1st at www.sayurinaillacquer.com.

Let's start with the swatches!

This is "Roots Of The World Tree", a beige jelly base with purple shimmer, bronze sparks and a mixture of metallic and holographic gold, caramel, copper and pink glitters. I used three coats with a glossy top coat, you could probably get along with two coats as well but I wanted it to be as opaque as possible :D

"Sunstruck", a light olive crelly with strong gold shimmer and tiny metallic and holographic glitters. Shown here are two coats with a glossy top coat.

"Blacker Than Pitch", a black-based holographic polish with copper-red flakes and red shimmer. Shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat.

"High King", a coppery purple polish with a blue overlay and gold and copper microflakes. This polish is limited edition, so it's only available until the initial batch has sold out. Shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat.

"Taken By The Mountain", a holographic thermal polish shifting between purple-toned pink and brown with blue shimmer and tiny iridescent violet glitters. Shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat.

"Bringers Of Nightmares",  a dark teal jelly base with turquoise and magenta holographic glitters, purple shimmer and pink, purple, blue and green chrome flakes. Shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat.

"Lifetime of Darkness", a black jelly base with purple and green sparks, scattered holo, tiny holographic green glitters and aqua/green and purple/blue crystal flakes. Shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat.

What do you think? Will you get some of them or even the whole collection?
My favorite is "Lifetime Of Darkness".

 Let's start with the swatches!
(I used two coats with a glossy top coat for each swatch)

This is "Katrina Van Tassel", a red jelly base with scattered holo flakes.

"Ms Eva Ernst",  a deep burgundy jelly base with scattered holo flakes.

"Madame Serena",  a plum jelly base with scattered holo flakes.

"Magica De Spell",  a deep purple jelly base with scattered holo flakes.

"Nancy Downs", a deep violet jelly base with scattered holo flakes.

"Zelena", a bright green jelly base with scattered holo flakes.

The polishes are gorgeous, totally my taste! Only "Zelena" looks like it wouldn't belong to the others, but who cares if they are all awesome? :D
